Introduction

16th Century family run Inn, with 10 en-suite letting rooms, offering food, fine ales, wine and a large selection of Malt Whiskies. The Inn has a carpark, sun-deck and beer garden.

Dogs welcome by prior arrangement.

Situated in a part of the town that is quiet and yet within easy walking to the centre of the town.

  • Booking is advisable to avoid disappointment. Booking can be made via e-mail or telephone, credit card details will be required to secure reservation. Rates are room only, breakfast extra but optional. Directions are available on web page.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

  • Small tarmaced car park, access from car park to check-in, steep ramp at back door. Front entrance of Inn has 3 steps (no hand rail).
  • If arrival is before Inn opening hours doorbell can be rung by back door.
  • One car allowed per room.

  • Reception is located at rear of the bar.

  • Once inside bar and toilets are on ground level.
  • Bar seating is a mixture of free standing and fixed benched seating.

  • All 10 bedrooms are en-suite, 8 are in the main building - access via carpeted wide stair case with painted hand rail (approx 16 steps - approx measurements 28cm depth, 16 cms high).
  • 2 rooms are located via carpark - concreate staircase (approx 25 steps - approx measurements 24cm depth, 16cm high).
  • These 2 rooms have own entrance.
  • All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, colour television, alarm clock, hairdryer and free wifi - adjustable central heating all rooms.
  • 2 single rooms (located main building) with shower approx tray height 31cm. all other rooms have bath with over bath shower, (bath height approx 56 - 59cms). No grab rails on baths.
  • Breakfast extra charge - optional - english or continental breakfasts available, vegetarian option available.
  • Serving times - 7.30am - 9am (Monday - Friday)  8.45am - 9am (Saturday and Sunday)
