Directions from the North (Whitchurch):

• End of dual carriageway, 2nd exit from roundabout A49.

• Take 3rd exit at the roundabout onto Battlefield road A5 112

• Take 3rd exit at roundabout onto Ditherington Road - Town Centre

• Straight over mini roundabout

• Traffic Lights (by railway bridge) get into right hand lane - keep in right hand lane under bridge

• Traffic lights (past railway bridge) turn right, and then keep in left hand lane onto Smithfield road.

• Traffic lights (straight through) river on right hand side.

• Traffic lights - turn right over Welsh bridge into Frankwell.

• At roundabout take 2nd exit The Bucks Head is immediately on the left hand side.

Directions from the South (London):

• Follow M6 North to junction 10A

• Junction 10A turn onto M54

• M54 to A5

• Roundabout take 2nd exit onto A49

• Roundabout take 1st exit onto Sundorne Road

• Roundabout straight over onto Sundorne Road

• Roundabout 2nd exit Ditherington Road - Town Centre

• Then as North

Directions from the East (Birmingham) or South (Bristol):

• M5 to junction 8 then M6

• M6 to junction 10A then M54

• M54 to A5

• Then as London and the North

Directions from the West (Welshpool):

• A458 - Roundabout (Shrewsbury By-pass) straight over 2nd exit (Welshpool Road)

• Roundabout straight over 2nd exit

• Traffic Lights - Turn right - then immediately filter to left - Town Centre (The Mount)

• Continue along 'The Mount' - The Bucks Head is last building on the Right Hand side at bottom off hill - just before Frankwell Roundabout.

By Air:

Overseas flights are available from Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and Cardiff Internatoinal Airports, just over an hours drive away from Shrewsbury. Also within easy reach are Heathrow and Gatwick.
